Greetings, Lark Families,

It is truly a blessing to serve as the proud principal of Larkdale Elementary as we continue to build on the historic successes we have achieved over the years. Larks, we did it — we maintained our “B” school grade and increased by 5 percentage points! This remarkable milestone is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and resilience of our students, teachers, staff, families, and community partners.

As your new principal, I am both humbled and energized to build on this momentum as we continue our pursuit of excellence together. We are rolling up our sleeves and getting ready to make 2025–2026 our best year yet — strengthening last year’s successes and creating even more opportunities for our scholars to grow and thrive.

I am deeply committed to supporting our teachers and staff as we work together to ensure that every child reaches their fullest potential. With the partnership of our intern principal, Cynthia Woods, we will continue to cultivate a learning environment where every scholar feels safe, valued, included, and inspired to become their best self.

Our focus remains steadfast: all students can succeed when we believe in them and work as one united family with a shared vision. At Larkdale, we proudly celebrate the rich diversity of our Larks community and embrace every culture and background that makes our school so special.
